Read that. So here's the thing. Diane Abbott made a similar type of error during an interview and for about 4 years on the trot after that I saw facebook comments by detractors of Corbyn on Corbyn's page 'ridicule' Diane for that error over 500 times, and that's just what I alone saw. Will these people treat Mr Raab the same way? Or is it only non white people they like to 'ridicule' and label stupid?
Given the circs and the risks involved, Raab's error is far more damaging than Abbott's - after all the more the government undermines its own credibility, the less people are willing to take the danger they are in seriously enough.
